The Electrical Board of Missouri and Illinois manages an Electrical Expo that attracts manufacturers from across the country. We are planning for our next expo which will take place on March 11-12, 2020 at St. Charles Convention Center. Ameren is the exclusive sponsor once again.

Our last expo was held on March 21-22, 2017 at the St. Charles Convention Center in St. Charles, Missouri. We had 2,435 attendees for the 2 days and 768 exhibitor personnel for a total of 3,203. In addition, we had 206 booths and were “sold out” in February, having turned several manufacturers away who wished to exhibit. In addition to product information, seminars were held on a wide variety of topics to enhance the educational value of the Expo as well as offer pdh/peus for engineers/contractors. Over 1,900 attended the 12 seminars offered over the two days; several seminars had 250+ attendees and the average in each was 145 attendees. One of the most popular seminars is an update on the National Electrical Code (8 hours) which attracts 350 participants. The expo itself is free of charge, but there is a cost to attend seminars. Ameren was once again the exclusive sponsor for the Expo and we appreciate the support they provided us once again.
Manufacturers – if you did NOT exhibit in 2017 and wish to be included on future mailings for our Expos, please email firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com and they will include your name for the 2020 Expo. It’s a manufacturers only show. We will begin sending out contracts in July/August 2019. If you did not receive a postcard about the 2020 Expo, please email firstname.lastname@example.org so she can add you to our mailing list to receive the contract.
It’s an all-industry event…utility, contractors, industrial/commercial, architects, government, health care, education all attend the show. It’s a great way to see new products firsthand that can save your company money and compare manufacturers’ products in ONE venue.
Distributors – we appreciate their support for the show by providing tickets at their branches for customers, by bringing bus/vans of customers to this event and their sales personnel promotion during their months leading up to the show.
In addition, the Show Promotion Committee helps to reimburse any company wishing to bring a bus/van to the expo. If you plan to bring a bus/van to our next show, please make sure to contact EBMI for details about receiving reimbursement for bus/van of customers for this show…must be over a 50 mile radius from the Convention Center.
