08072024 – Project Manager

ECC Electric Controls Company  is seeking a Project Manager
Electrical contractor is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the day-to-day construction activities and successful execution of single or multiple projects for the water and wastewater construction and service market.  The Project Manager is responsible for managing the construction project safety, quality, schedule, cost control, subcontractors, suppliers and field team members.  The ideal candidate should possess excellent time management, communication and leadership skills.  The position assists with developing the project scope and schedule, project documentation and budget.   Experience in managing others to reach project goals and clients’ expectations in an efficient manner is a must.  Travel is required to job sites in all types of terrain and weather conditions, as well as project sites in various stages of construction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Determine project roles, responsibilities and deadlines for each field team member
Ensure the project is being completed within the established schedule and on budget
Coordinate changes and identify solutions. 
Provide the field team members with support and leadership to encourage commitment and productivity. 
Create progress and completion reports for upper management detailing objectives were met.
Qualifications
Master Electrical license or equivalent knowledge and knowledge of electrical code
Interface with union electricians, contractors and customers
Two to four years’ related water and wastewater treatment experience with emphasis on construction preferred. 
Installation/commissioning experience with pressure-level-flow instrumentation and pump controls/solid state motor controls is a plus.
Ability to physically navigate a construction jobsite. May involve use of ladders, inspection of ditches, use of personal safety equipment.
Ability to read electrical schematics.
Excellent communication and organization skills.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
Must be able to meet the Company’s driving requirements.
Additional degrees or certifications a plus.

Local subcontracting firm is seeking a dedicated, organized, and efficient Project Manager Assistant to join our team.  In this role, you will support the project managers with the administrative duties of assigned projects.  You will be required to ensure the accuracy of the financial records associated with the project.  Your responsibilities would be to enter accounts payable on a daily basis, prepare purchase orders, create invoices, enter accounts receivable, and assist with other daily office duties. Strong knowledge of MS Office and Adobe Acrobat.  Accounting/bookkeeping experience preferred. Excellent organization and communication skills, as well as good time management are required.
